Electrical Engineer 1
RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of experienced on staff senior Electrical Engineers, performs routine technical assignments including performing calculations to support project engineering activities, assists in creation of Engineering documents, site visits to facilities to review existing electrical conditions, system component sizing, and equipment selection details. The Engineer will gather information needed for the preparation of specifications, review vendor shop drawings for conformance with engineering documents, and will perform field observations during project construction.
QUALIFICATIONS
Position requires a 4-year electrical engineering degree from an ABET accredited program. This is an entry level position and necessary training will be provided and guided by on staff engineers. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and approach assigned tasks as an opportunity for growth and experience. If not already accomplished, should be pursuing a Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification in order to be prepared for Professional Engineering (PE) Registration once required work experience is achieved.
